131 Course Structure This 1 year course offersmodules at Quality andQualifications Ireland (QQI FET) Level 5 (delivered in the relevant College of Further Education) and includes 2modules at NFQLevel 8 (delivered onDCU’s Institute of Education, St Patrick’s campus) which formpart of the undergraduate degree in Education and Training (see page 128). Youwill attendDCU (St Patrick’s campus) for one day per week each semester, so youwill get to know the campus and enjoy the full university experience. If you successfully complete both the Foundation Programme and theQQI Level 5 award, either Education and Training (Course Code: 5M3635) at City of Dublin FETCollege, Whitehall, or Education Studies with Psychology (Course Code: 5M3635) at Drogheda Institute of Further Education (DIFE), youmay be eligible to progress to Year 1 of the full-time BSc in Education and Training at DCU. Eligibility is contingent on achieving aminimumof 3 distinctions and 3merits across the 8QQI modules.
