91 177. VeriSocial VeriSocial is a platformdesigned to promote authentic human interaction by detecting and filtering out AI-generated content and bot activity. As AI-generated content and bots become more prevalent online, distinguishing between real users and artificial ones has become increasingly difficult. VeriSocial addresses this challenge by integrating AI-driven content verification and bot detection mechanisms, ensuring an environment free from inauthentic engagement. The platformallows users to create and share posts, interact with others, and participate in interactive challenges to enhance their awareness of AI. Developed with a focus on authenticity, VeriSocial aims to restore trust in the digital landscape. Energy Usage and CO 2 Emission Reduction Strategies in Data Centers This project investigates strategies to reduce energy consumption and CO 2 emissions in data centers. Data centers consume vast amounts of electricity, generating significant waste heat, which is often released into the environment. This study explores methods to capture and repurpose this excess heat for residential heating, improving energy efficiency and sustainability. Through an analysis of cooling system optimisation, IT equipment efficiency, and renewable energy integration, the research identifies best practices for reducing environmental impact. A key aspect of the project is the design for a waste heat recovery system. The findings demonstrate how data centers can contribute to local heating networks, lowering carbon footprints while enhancing energy efficiency. PlantPal PlantPal is an Android app designed to help gardeners care for their plants. It monitors environmental factors such as temperature, soil moisture, humidity, and light levels in real time using IoT devices. The app compares this data to each plant’s care instructions and alerts the user if conditions deviate from optimal levels. PlantPal also allows users to take photos of plants for identification and care instructions. It assesses plant health using color spectrumanalysis and provides a health score. For illness detection, the app suggests potential issues and remedies.
